In Myanmar, recorded in Kachin State (Hkakaborazi NP, Bumphabum, Hponkanrazi, Indawgyi Wetland and Hukaung Valley WS and Proposed Imawbum NP), Chin State (Natmataung NP), Rakhine State (Rakhine Yoma Elephant Range WS), Sagaing Region (Htamanthi WS and Alaungdawkathapa NP), Kayin State, Tanintharyi Region (Htaung Pru RF, Tanintharyi Nature Reserve and Proposed Lenya NP).

Biologi & Ekologieng
Habitat. Primary and secondary forest, including grassland / forest mosaic. Found up to 1500 m on Borneo, and from 700 to 2500 m on Sumatra. In north-east India, it is restricted to dense tropical and subtropical forests up to 2000 m.
