Habitat Some individuals were found hopping among Cuphea carthagenensis plants or sitting and vocalising among partially submerged Axonopus compressus plants. Other individuals were found on the wall of a building. Specimens were collected up to 9 m from the pond and vertically up to 1 m. When approached, individuals of this species immediately jumped into the water or moved into plants in the water. They were found to be active at 19 – 23 ° C and 84 – 97 % humidity.
