Distribution. This agamid also occurs on Perhentian Besar, Perhentian Kecil, Pulau Lang Tengah as well as Redang islands (Grismer 2011 b; Grismer et al. 2011, 2015).

Biology. Both specimens were found by night in November, asleep on a branch overhanging a river in primary forest, at 2 and 3 meters above water respectively.

Biology. This diurnal species is common in bushes and shrubs bordering gardens, paddy fields and plantations, often near streams. It has been also observed on forest edges. Specimens were seen in August and November. Gonocephalus grandis (Gray, 1845) *

Distribution on Sumatra. Provinces of Aceh, Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat, Jambi, Riau, Bengkulu, Sumatera Selatan, and Palembang; also the islands of Bangka, Nias, Simeulue and We, and Mentawai Archipelago (De Rooij, 1915; Hallermann, 2005). This species was previously mentioned from Lake Maninjau by De Rooij (1915).
