<p>Pantala flavescens, or wandering glider, is a cosmopolitan dragonfly present on every continent but Antarctica. This ubiquitous dragonfly is common in most dragonfly collections. Medium sized, it's easily recognized by its colouration and the trapezoidal shape of its pterostigma.</p>

A cosmopolitan dragonfly. It was collected in Guam by Fullaway in 1911, but not recorded. It is probably the most abundant dragonfly in Guam, and is the only Guam species which is also found in Hawaii.

A cosmopolitan species. It is not uncommon to find this insect adopting crepuscular habits, and concerning the specimens in the present collection Dr. Annandale remarks, — “ Flying over open grassy places when the sun had set. ”
